Enjoy picnic areas\, native plants\, wildlife habitat and a rotating exhibit of contemporary art that is fun for the entire family. The best part? The Park is FREE to visit\, sunrise to sunset every day of the year. Josephine Sculpture Park also accepts Yes Cards for their paid programs and events. Visit their website to learn more. \n\nPaul Sawyier Public Library \nLocated in downtown Frankfort\, the library offers awesome programming for all ages! \n\nCove Springs Park \nCove Springs has hiking trails\, waterfalls and plenty of space to move. Built by George Hockersmith c.1855\, this historic bridge is 120 ft. long\, 11 ft. wide\, and of Howe truss design.  Each entrance has a saw tooth edge. Hours are dawn to dusk. \n\nLeslie Morris Park on Fort Hill \nLeslie Morris Park on Fort Hill features two Civil War earthen forts\, the Sullivan House visitor / interpretive center\, the Gippy Graham picnic pavilion\, a scenic downtown Frankfort overlook and several hiking trails\, paved and natural single track surface. Each class includes specialized demonstrations and studio time to freely create.\n\nFor February’s classes\, students will learn to throw small forms off the hump to create bottles\, vases\, and saki cups. We have a Monday night class for kids who need an adult with them. \nPottery will be ready for pick up in 2 to 3 weeks\, and you will receive an email or text when finished. SUMMARY:Colorful Flowers Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Your yard flowers will be colorful year-round with what is created from this workshop! You will hand-build 3 flowers that you will also paint with glaze — we have a variety of colors to choose from. On the back you will learn to create a holder for a metal wire that the studio will attach for you. These will be sturdy enough to put in the ground. \nIt will take about 3 weeks for us to fire and prepare your finished project. Extra Flowers are only $10 each. \nChildren under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. \nOur handbuilding workshops are a great way to be introduced to clay. The class begins with a demo\, followed by guided instruction. This project should take about 1 and 1/2 hours to complete. These are laid back and easy group instruction classes for beginners to advanced. We would love to have you! Purchasing here will reserve your spot.

DESCRIPTION:Size: t-rex: 6½” H x 10¼” L x 4½” W. dragon: 6¼” H x 10½” L x 6″ W \nPaint your own faceted Dragon or Trex. Bring in photos of ideas so our studio instructors can help your designs come to life! You will be using our studio glazes in multitudes of colors. \nThis is a workshop for multiple ages. Children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult. We allow one adult to assist in the making\, then others nd to pay for a spot. Your projects will take 3 weeks to be completed\, and you will receive a text or phone call when your projects are finished firing. We hold projects for 1 month and then they disappear from the store.
