DESCRIPTION:Time: 5:15pm to 6:15pm \nDate: Each session includes four classes beginning on the first Tuesday of the month. \nAge: 4-9 (ages 4 & 5 adult must come with child; Ages 6 & up is optional) \nCost: $65 for Child and Adult together for the month session \nWelcome to the wild and wonderful world of clay! This is our beginners class for kids. Students will throw on the wheel\, sculpt clay\, and hand-build functional pottery. \nThese classes are for children ages four to nine\, plus one adult (optional for older children). Kids and their special adult will explore clay while expanding creativity\, practice problem solving\, and build artistic techniques by creating their own projects. As students continue the classes each month they will build skills and can eventually become an independent artist!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an afternoon of creativity and Fall fun at Josephine Sculpture Park! We will get inspired on a 30-minute guided fall art and nature walk. Then\, artist Heather Dent and Berea College students will guide us in creating a pumpkin sculpture. \nEach participant will receive a pumpkin to transform into something truly unique. We will have carving tools and a variety of craft supplies available. We invite you to think beyond a simple jack-o-lantern to create something unexpected. You could build a fairy house\, pirate ship\, airplane — whatever your imagination comes up with!
