DESCRIPTION:Cost: $35 Ribbit! \nCome to the studio to create a frog jar. You can create your own character and even add legs if you like. The question is what will you store inside? Our handbuilding workshops are a great way to be introduced to clay. The class begins with a demo\, followed by guided instruction. This is a workshop for multiple ages. Children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult. We allow one adult to assist in the making\, then others need to pay for a spot. Your projects will take 3 weeks to be completed\, and you will receive a text or phone call when your projects are finished firing. We hold projects for 1 month and then they disappear from the store. \n

Creating art helps us explore our feelings and deepen observations of the world around us. Nature is constantly inspiring so many feelings\, wonders\, thoughts\, questions\, and more. Spending time in nature and making art\, both help to reduce stress and explore feelings\, which can be so important for kids\, especially in underserved communities. \nAll ages are welcome for an open art studio in nature. We welcome registration by email to ensure there are plenty of materials available at registration@redoaksforestschool.org.
