DESCRIPTION:Create your own Delicate Snowflakes with the help of our studio instructor. You will be able to create 5 snowflakes. Additional will be $5 each to be paid the day of class. \nOur handbuilding workshops are a great way to be introduced to clay. The class begins with a demo\, followed by guided instruction. \nRefund Policy: https://broadwayclaypay.square.site/refund-policy \nThis is a workshop for multiple ages. Children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult. We allow one adult to assist in the making\, then others need to pay for a spot. \nYour projects will take 3 weeks to be completed\, and you will receive a text or phone call when your projects are finished firing. We hold projects for 1 month and then they disappear from the store.

Built by George Hockersmith c.1855\, this historic bridge is 120 ft. long\, 11 ft. wide\, and of Howe truss design.  Each entrance has a saw tooth edge. Bring your instrument and share a song at the jam session (5-6pm)\, then get your groove on with DJ Always (6:30-8pm). Warm up around the bonfires and enjoy a fire performance by The Flaming Femme (6-6:30pm). Explore the night sky with Starpointe Astronomy’s Dan Price\, and take a stroll in the park after dark. DESCRIPTION:Looking for free activities in Frankfort? Here’s a few of our favorites. These Frankfort venues offer youth and family programming and are open to the public. \nCheck their websites and/or social media for up to date activities and times. \n\nJosephine Sculpture Park \nExplore nearly 70 works of art throughout 40 acres of native meadows and newly forested areas. Enjoy picnic areas\, native plants\, wildlife habitat and a rotating exhibit of contemporary art that is fun for the entire family. The best part? The Park is FREE to visit\, sunrise to sunset every day of the year. Josephine Sculpture Park also accepts Yes Cards for their paid programs and events. Visit their website to learn more. \n\nPaul Sawyier Public Library \nLocated in downtown Frankfort\, the library offers awesome programming for all ages! \n\nCove Springs Park \nCove Springs has hiking trails\, waterfalls and plenty of space to move. It’s free and open daily. \n\nFrankfort Public Art Tour \nWalk around downtown and find public art on every corner. Use the Visit Frankfort map to find them or explore on your own. \n\nCapital City Museum \nThe Capital City Museum is open Monday through Saturday\, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There’s no admission fee. Exhibits cover a variety of Frankfort history and fun. \n\nDaniel Boone’s Grave \nIt may seem odd to visit a cemetery\, but this is a historic spot! The Frankfort Cemetery overlooks the Kentucky River and the Kentucky State Capitol. \n\nSwitzer Covered Bridge \nIf you need to get outside and explore\, check out Frankfort’s covered bridge. Built by George Hockersmith c.1855\, this historic bridge is 120 ft. long\, 11 ft. wide\, and of Howe truss design.  Each entrance has a saw tooth edge. Rebuilt in 1998\, the bridge is on the National Historic Register. Hours are dawn to dusk. \n\nLeslie Morris Park on Fort Hill \nLeslie Morris Park on Fort Hill features two Civil War earthen forts\, the Sullivan House visitor / interpretive center\, the Gippy Graham picnic pavilion\, a scenic downtown Frankfort overlook and several hiking trails\, paved and natural single track surface. Free guided tours are available. Visit their website for more information. \n\nBe a Frankfort Tourist \nTour your own town! Visit Frankfort offers walking tours and self guided digital tours. Visit their website to find times and locations for guided tours as well.

DESCRIPTION:The 76th Annual Frankfort Christmas Parade A Kentucky Christmas is Saturday\, December 7 @ 6:30 p.m. \nDue to the closure of the Singing Bridge and parts of Taylor Avenue\, which participants use to return to the starting point\, the parade will be rerouted this year. \n\nStarts at CCU.\nTurn left onto High Street. (Against the usual traffic direction.)\nRight onto West Main Street.\nRight onto Washington Street.\nRight onto West Broadway.\nLeft onto Ann Street\nRight onto Clinton Street.\nReturn to CCU.
