The tuner follows Dewey Finn\, a failed\, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding\, bass-slapping\, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out? \nCharacter Auditions\nAuditions for roles will be held DURING Summer Academy. Ashtin will guide you through a lovely all-levels class with views of blooming meadows\, sculptures and woodlands from the comfort of the shaded\, solid floor of the event barn. Please bring a yoga mat or towel (the floor is concrete) and water. All ages are welcome\, and children must be accompanied by an adult. \nThis series is part of Josephine Sculpture Park’s Wellness in the Wild program\, strengthening community health through outdoor movement\, the arts\, and connection.
