Once you register\, you are enrolled in Summer Academy! \nTuition\n$525/student\nCredit card fees do apply. To avoid the fee\, please visit our Box Office Tuesday-Friday\, 11:00am-5:00pm to register in person and pay with cash or check. Please email businessoffice@woodfordtheatre.com ahead of registration to get a discount code. \nRefunds\nSummer Academy is non-refundable. \nAbout School of Rock\nRock got no reason\, rock got no rhyme… You better get me to school on time! Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock: Young Actors Edition is a dynamic\, one-hour version of the musical based on the hit movie\, designed especially for young performers. The tuner follows Dewey Finn\, a failed\, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding\, bass-slapping\, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out? \nCharacter Auditions\nAuditions for roles will be held DURING Summer Academy. Everyone is guaranteed to participate in the weekend of performances\, but no one is guaranteed a specific role. \nFinancial Assistance\nLimited financial assistance may be available.
