DESCRIPTION:Join us for an afternoon of creativity and Fall fun at Josephine Sculpture Park! We will get inspired on a 30-minute guided fall art and nature walk. Then\, artist Heather Dent and Berea College students will guide us in creating a pumpkin sculpture. \nEach participant will receive a pumpkin to transform into something truly unique. We will have carving tools and a variety of craft supplies available. We invite you to think beyond a simple jack-o-lantern to create something unexpected. You could build a fairy house\, pirate ship\, airplane — whatever your imagination comes up with!

DESCRIPTION:July 9th-11th\, 10am-4pm \nJSP welcomes youth ages 10-18 to a 3-day SPRAYFiNGER® workshop with Artist-in-Residence\, Peyton Scott Russell! SPRAYFiNGER® is a graffiti arts community dedicated to elevating the art and culture of graffiti through educational programs and collaborations. SPRAYFiNGER® finds freedom in the flow of working with spray paint\, in experimenting with color and line making\, practicing the art of creative lettering\, moving the aesthetics of graffiti into new mediums and contexts\, and embracing continuous exploration.  Participants will move from visualization to conceptualization to creating a strong composition on GRAPHOLOGYHENGE to be publicly unveiled at SoundScape! Bring your instrument and share a song at the jam session (5-6pm)\, then get your groove on with DJ Always (6:30-8pm). Warm up around the bonfires and enjoy a fire performance by The Flaming Femme (6-6:30pm). Explore the night sky with Starpointe Astronomy’s Dan Price\, and take a stroll in the park after dark. Savor fall teas and hot chocolate plus delicious pizza from Cheese Luis (for purchase) with new and familiar friends.
