Joy Full- Gratitude Gathering
December 8, 5-8pm
Josephine Sculpture Park

You’re invited to Joy Full, Josephine Sculpture Park’s 2nd annual year-end gratitude gathering in the event barn! Celebrate JSP volunteers, visitors, partners, and donors at this free, family-friendly night with the arts, nature, and community. 

Create community fiber artworks with Yes Arts and Little Loomhouse. Bring your instrument and share a song at the jam session (5-6pm), then get your groove on with DJ Always (6:30-8pm). Warm up around the bonfires and enjoy a fire performance by The Flaming Femme (6-6:30pm). Explore the night sky with Starpointe Astronomy’s Dan Price, and take a stroll in the park after dark. Savor fall teas and hot chocolate plus delicious pizza from Cheese Luis (for purchase) with new and familiar friends.

Frankfort Christmas Parade

The City of Frankfort is thrilled to announce the return of the 76th Annual Frankfort Christmas Parade, hosted by Seven Mountains Media’s stations: Froggy Country 104.9–101.7, Passport Radio 103.7–102.1, and Pop Radio 93.5. 

This year’s parade, presented by Commonwealth Credit Union, will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, starting at 6:30 p.m. from Commonwealth Credit Union on High Street.

Treats with Santa and Friends

Who’s making a pit stop at the Fire Department? It’s the big guy himself—Santa! Bring your holiday spirit (and your sweet tooth) on December 10 for Treats with Santa & Friends. Don’t miss it!

Delicate Snowflakes – Hand Building Workshop

Create your own Delicate Snowflakes with the help of our studio instructor. You will be able to create 5 snowflakes. Our handbuilding workshops are a great way to be introduced to clay. The class begins with a demo, followed by guided instruction.

Santa and The Grinch Visit

Come experience the holiday spirit at Expree. Santa and the Grinch will be available for photos. Children will also enjoy snacks and crafts. 

Christmas Market Craft Fair

Come and shop, see Santa and the Grinch and of course an Elf or two. We have a full venue of local and new out of town vendors from Central Kentucky. Perfect day for a treat or two. Bring the kids for pics with our real beard Santa. His laugh is the perfect Kris Kringle.

Frankfort Police Department Christmas Movie
