Broadway Clay offers week long clay camps in a professional studio environment. Through exploration, students become independent learners who aren’t afraid to freely create and make messy mistakes! Ages 7 – 12
Description: You will be exploring (from the safety of Broadway Clay) the tombs of Egypt and creating a sarcophagus box with a mummy inside, pyramid, canonic jars, hieroglyphic jewelry, and other treasures. You will learn about myths of Ancient Egypt and throw on the wheel.
Instructor: Leah is a gradate of the University of Kentucky’s Communication and Marketing Program where she has an emphasis in the Visual Arts. She has been part of the Broadway Clay community for over two years and currently teaches many of our classes and private lessons.
