Summer Camp at Capital City Museum

With a focus on historic crafts, this half-day camp will let your child explore history and nature in and around downtown Frankfort!
Each day camp will have a different theme.

June 28th – Ghost Stories!
July 1st – Cryptids and Legends!
July 10th – Splashin Around
July 24th-25th – Nature and Art
July 31st – Scavenger Hunts
Minimum age is 8 years old. Parents and guardians are welcome to join their children for the duration of the event, or they can drop off their child.

Drop off and pick-up will be at the Capital City Museum. Drop off begins at 8:00 am. Planned activities begin at 8:30 am. Pick-up begins at 11:30, and concludes at 12:00.
The camp is $5 and sponsored by the Capital City Museum.
Water, some snacks, and restrooms are available on-site.
Each child is recommended to bring the following:
Sunscreen
Water/water bottle
Snack
Good walking shoes.
If your child is attending the July 10th camp – Splashin Around, they should also bring their swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes.
In addition, if your child has any known allergies to stinging bugs or peanuts, we recommend providing an Epipen to staff on the day of event. Staff are trained in administration.
