kentucky family resource and youth services centers

Franklin County Schools offer support to students and families through the FRYSC program. The main goal of a FRYSC is to remove non-academic barriers to learning as a means to enhance student academic success.

FRYSCs collaborate in the community to promote physical and mental health for families and students as well as opportunities for families to learn together in safe environments.

They can help with...

  • Preschool child care
  • After-school child day care
  • Family literacy services
  • Health services and referrals
  • Career exploration and development for youth
  • Summer and part-time job development (high school only)
  • Substance abuse education and counseling
  • Family crisis and mental health counseling
