Doggy Book Club

Hello Friends and Fans! Looking for something to do with your kiddos now that school is out? Check out our new and improved weekly Doggy Book Club! We invite kids age 7-12 to the shelter on Thursday’s 10am-noon for a fun FREE experience! Learn to properly handle dogs and cats, make fun crafts, help out around the shelter and have some private time to read to our dogs (and cats). Bring your child’s favorite book or borrow one of ours! Parents: Need a fun way to encourage your kid to read this summer? The Doggy Book Club is being led by Frankfort school teacher Ms. Mallory Pennington (and friends). If your child wants privacy to read, that’s great! If your child needs some encouragement, you’ll have all the reading support your child needs with Ms. Pennington and friends.
