Summer Academy is an educational opportunity for all in the community and audition is not required to participate. Once you register, you are enrolled in Summer Academy!
Tuition
$525/student
Credit card fees do apply. To avoid the fee, please visit our Box Office Tuesday-Friday, 11:00am-5:00pm to register in person and pay with cash or check. Call the Box Office at 859-873-0648 with registration questions.
Sibling discounts are available! Please email businessoffice@woodfordtheatre.com ahead of registration to get a discount code.

About School of Rock
Rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme… You better get me to school on time! Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock: Young Actors Edition is a dynamic, one-hour version of the musical based on the hit movie, designed especially for young performers. The tuner follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out?
Character Auditions
Auditions for roles will be held DURING Summer Academy. Everyone is guaranteed to participate in the weekend of performances, but no one is guaranteed a specific role.
